I'm 24, and about to become a mom for the first time. I do have a soon to be seven year old step son. His dad, Jason, and I aren't married yet. We were supposed to in October of last year, but in August I found out that I was expecting. Since I had just dropped $200 on a wedding dress I decided to save it for this year. Miles, my soon to be son, is due any day now. I plan on breastfeeding and my friends think I'm "granola" for wanting to skip the epidural. I'm excited, but scared because while I consider Johnny (my fiance's son) my own, I certainly didn't raise him for 7 years, and we only get him every other weekend. It's not like this full time gig coming up. I don't enjoy my job much anymore and luckily it looks like they might get bought out soon. And I'm happy to be spending the last few months on FMLA. Sadly, it is a good job, and at one time a lot of fun, but there are people who lack quality leadership skills in higher up positions than I that make life there miserable. C'est la vie! I have pets, and I'm a sucker for a fast car. I miss having a beer here and there, and I quit smoking when I found out I was pregnant, but I definitely don't miss that. I need to go to bed, but pregnancy has made me an insomniac so I read/comment at odd times. Also, I hate LJ cuts because I always forget the HTML code even though it's like 7 characters long. And I think it's time to end this bio. Always looking for more LJ friends so add me if you want to.
